Reaching our limits - prevention and recovery
Caring can be relentless, but we often just keep going. We might feel like there’s no other way - pushing on until we hit a wall. This can lead to fatigue and burnout.
This event is all about breaking that cycle. Spotting the warning signs to prevent ourselves from reaching breaking point.
But what if we’ve already hit that wall? It’s important to also talk about recovery.
The good news is along with our carer guest panelists, we’ll share some small but effective changes we can try to make things a little less ‘running uphill in the rain’ and more ‘smooth sailing’. We’ll cover how to start difficult conversations, set firm boundaries, and much more.
