Nicole Chiu

Hi there! I'm Nicole, but I usually go by Nic.

I’ve joined the Partnerships team here at Mobilise as an Account Manager to help look after the North East contracts. I joined Mobilise because I wanted a role that really aligned with my own values, that I could
really contribute to the growth and development of.

Over the past few years I have been a wellbeing and DEI Advocate and part of ESG initiatives in the North West, Mobilise has a brilliantsocial purpose at the heart and to be able to play any part of the positive impact on carers life felt like a perfect fit. So it was a no brainer, I had to be involved in Mobilise.

I grew up in Gateshead, and moved to Manchester nearly 10 years ago for University to study
English Literature & American Studies at UoM. I’ve had a bit of an eclectic career since leaving Uni,
from running a Pan-Asian Restaurant, Copywriting and Creative Marketing Recruitment. One
thing has been consistent; my dedication to customer service and going that extra mile, realising
early on that relationship building was one of my superpowers.

Me and my boyfriend Mil (his real name is Alex but when we came to uni there were about 10
Alex’s so they were all renamed), have been together 5 years and currently live together with
Ham (named after his love of Ham and Jude Bellingham). He’s a very old stray Tom cat, who
wandered into our garden 3 years ago and never left - apparently this is quite common for street
cats to retire when they’re past their prime. He’s become very accustomed to the pampered life.
